Candle Care
The first burn is everything
Your candles have memory. This means, the first burn of your candle so important because it determines how it will burn each time.
The first time you light your candle trim the wick (to approximately 1/4" (0.6cm) then, let it burn!
You want to make sure that the melted wax reaches the edges of your jar.
This will give your candles the best burn each time and prevent the wax from tunnelling straight down the center of the jar.
When burning your candle, keep your wick centred and wax free of wick trimmings and debris. Burn your candle for no more than 3 hours at a time, blow out and then allow for your wax to cool down before lidding your jar and handling the glass.
Discontinue use when your candle reaches 1/4" of wax. We recommend prying out hardened wax, rinsing your jar with soap and water and reusing around the house!
We love to reuse our TEN/01 jars for crystals, flowers, displaying coffee pods on our bar cart, or holding jewelry on our bedside table.

Wax Residue and Wet Spots
Soy wax is a clean burning however, it is known to leave some wax residue on your jar. If you prefer the look of your jar without, make sure your candle is 100% cooled off and use a dry cloth to wipe around the inside and easily remove any residue.
You may also notice spots of separation between the glass & wax, this is known as a wet spot. These are created as the temperature changes from warm to cold and very common among all types of candle wax; wet spots usually disappear when you light your candle again.
